Arcane Palette Museum Themes

AP Museum Paper

Thanks for purchasing AP Museum Paper. We're glad you took the time to poke around and find this document. In this file we will go over a few simple steps for setting up AP Museum Paper on your site.

Step One - Install the theme

Upload the contents of the zip file to your /wp-content/themes/ directory. Once the files are uploaded, you can click the Change Theme button from the Dashboard or expand the Appearance section in the sidebar and click on Themes. Then click Activate underneath the AP Museum Paper image and description.

It will look like this.

Step Two - Pick your options

Once the theme is installed, you can click over to Paper Options. This page allows you to add customization options to style your site. Some items (like design elements) are required. Some items (like social networking links) are not. The required options are marked with select one under the section heading (design and sidebar sections, specifically). After you've made your selections, click the Save Changes button. If you want to start over, you can click the Reset button.

Step Three - Customize your menus

AP Museum Paper supports customized menus. By default, all of your pages will display in the header under the tagline. If you would like to customize the links that appear or the order that they appear in, you can do so by clicking the Menus link under Appearance (WordPress 3.0 and higher). At this time, AP Museum Paper does not support dropdown menus, so if you have multi-level menus, you will need to make them top-level only (no submenus). When you create your first menu, you will need to name it Header for the customized menu to show up on the site.

Step Four - Finishing up

That's it!

At this point you can start using your new theme. By purchasing a Museum Theme from Arcane Palette, you can receive support via our Support Forum or report any bugs on our bug tracking system. Feel free to use the support forum any time you have any questions.
